Judy supports curriculum development, is faculty liaison for all UIS instructors, and organizes campus-wide enrichment programs, including co-chairing the Amplifying Indigenous Voices Affinity group. She also teaches “Western Heritage: Social Justice” and “Modern China: Culture and Identity” in the University Interdisciplinary Studies Program.
In addition to her work on campus, Judy is actively involved in local and state-wide human and animal rights work, including immigration and citizenship issues and electing progressive candidates to office.
